Longford GAA Leinster Council Representative and Grattans clubman Eamon Brennan presenting the Division 4 Cup to the Grattans captain Niall Nerney
After graduating from the junior grade last season, the progressive Young Grattans club will take their place in this year’s Intermediate Football Championship which starts on August 8.
Following an impressive run of results in Division 2 of the All County Football League, finishing in the runners-up position, some silverware was won as the Stonepark side claimed the Division 4 football league title after going through the competition unbeaten.
The main Grattans team are back in action in the Division 2 League (Top 4) Patsy Reilly Cup semi-final this Saturday evening (throw-in 7pm) when they meet neighbouring rivals St Brigid’s Killashee at Dunbeggan.
