A planning application has been lodged with Longford County Council in which permission is requested to turn an existing post office building - located on Main Street Drumlish - into a 1 bedroom apartment.

The proposal - which was submitted by applicant Sharon Kane last Thursday April 2 - is still in pre-validation meaning it is currently in the initial stages of review and has not yet been formally approved or validated by the council.
