Longford Slashers . . . 5-12 Carrickedmond . . . 1-5
Longford Slashers marched on to their 10th successive county final after a comprehensive victory over Carrickedmond at Michael Moran Park on Sunday.
The hosts were in typical spirited fashion in the first half but they just could not stop the storming reigning champions on the changeover after leading by 2-5 to 1-4 at the break.
County players the Lohan sisters have been a great addition to this already all conquering Slashers side and Clodagh proved her worth by accounting for over half of her side’s total, clocking up the impressive 4-2.
Under the new management of Ciaran Farrell, Slashers now have the chance to break the record they matched last year and go on to complete the unprecedented 6 in a row and outdo the fantastic Killoe team of 2010-2014.
