The Longford ladies football squad, under the guidance of new manager Pat Tiernan from the Grattans club, are currently preparing for the 2024 Lidl National League with their opening fixture in Division 4 away to Fermanagh on Sunday January 14.
Longford are also facing trips to Kilkenny, Carlow, Limerick and Derry in that order and somehow have to wait until Sunday February 25 for their first home game in the league against Wicklow.
The midlanders remaining match is at home to Leitrim on Sunday March 3 and the top 4 teams will qualify for the semi-finals on Sunday March 24 with the title decider scheduled for Saturday April 6.
