Longford GAA to oppose controversial hurling development proposal

Longford GAA will oppose the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) proposal for hurling development in the county

The current CCCC proposal would see the Longford Senior Hurling team removed from the National Hurling League in 2025 with funding redirected towards coaching initiatives in clubs.

 Longford will vote against this proposal at the Central Council meeting this Saturday, December 2nd.
