Longford Macra na Feirme are to launch a new club in the north region.
The launch will take place in Ballinalee on Friday, March 8 at 9.30pm in The Stags Head.
The night will feature a fun table quiz, with a short presentation by Longford Chairperson Ciaran Campbell.
Club members from other areas will be on hand to chat with those that are interested in joining or simply want to learn a little more about Macra. Finger food will be served.
The table quiz is €20 for a team of four with all proceeds on the night equally divided between the new club and Longford Hospice.
Macra is a social organisation for all people aged 17-35, interested in socialising, travel, sports, community involvement, public speaking, performing arts and agriculture.
Members run their own clubs and these clubs can be found all over the country from cities to villages, to towns and colleges.
The new club will be a rotating club with meetings and events taking place in various locations.
Members are welcome from all surrounding areas. It does not matter which parish or profession you belong to – Macra is open to all!
