Patricia McKenna chatted about the run, about how it had been planned for an hour, leaving Drumlish at around 4pm, and heading around the vicinity, into Killoe, Enybegs and back around that way. They were then to return to the old schoolhouse, where Santa would be, who was to lead the tractor run back into Drumlish for when the lights were to be put on.
Afterwards, those who had participated in the event were offered complimentary tea and sandwiches in the much-loved Mill Bar, for good discussion, Christmas merriment and the perfect celebration.
“It’s just that it’s good to support your local communities and that’s what we’re doing. We’re happy to do it. It’s always good to keep it local and support those around you, for those that need it most.”
