The death occurred, suddenly, on Friday, December 9, 2022 of Frank Toner, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 and formerly of Lanesboro, Co Longford. Beloved husband of the late Mary and much-loved father of Shirley, Patricia, Gillian, Alan and the late Francis; sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The death occurred, peacefully, in his 96th year, in the loving care of Dr Nuala Hardiman, Dr Annette Rogers, nurses and staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, on Friday, December 9, 2022 of John Carey, Corraghmore, Kenagh, Longford.  Sadly missed by his loving nieces Mary, Theresa and Margaret, his nephews Padraig, Kevin, Mel, Declan, Leo, Jimmy, Tom and Mícheál, sister-in-law Theresa, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in the Nursing Home Chapel on Sunday, December 11 from 3pm, with prayers at 5pm. Removal on Monday, December 12 to St Mary's Church, Moydow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The death occurred, peacefully in Tullamore General Hospital, on Thursday, December 8, 2022 of Philomena Prunty (née Deehan), College Park, Longford Town, Longford and formerly Ballymagrine, Rooskey and Cloontubrid, Drumlish. Predeceased by her husband Tommy, brother Johnny. Philomena will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sister Mary Cox Foynes Court and formerly Ardnacassa Lawns, brother in law James, her good friend Carmel Igoe, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Saturday evening, December 10 from 5pm to 7pm. Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford on Sunday, December 11 at 11.30am. The death occurred, peacefully in the exceptional care of the doctors and nurses in Tullamore regional hospital, on Thursday, December 8, 2022 of Elizabeth (Lil) Lennon (nee Clarke), Corlea, Kenagh, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her husband Willie and her brother William. Sadly missed by her loving family, her sons and daughters, Seamus, Mary, Liam, John, Kay and Eithne. Her brother Sonny, her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

Joan Nolan (née Kelly), Castlerea, Moydow, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Friday, December 9, 2022 of Joan Nolan (nee Kelly), Castlerea, Moydow, Longford. She is predeceased by her father Michael (Mike). Joan will be forever remembered, as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed by her husband John, sons Michael and Fabian, mother Mai, sisters Sheila, Marie, Margo, Colette, Phylis and Michelle, daughters-in-law Kate and Carol, grandchildren Ella, Mitchell, Eli, Fletcher and Mia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, dear neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Joan.
Reposing in her home on Friday, December 9 from 2pm until 9pm, with prayers at 7pm. As with Joan's wishes, her body will be bequeathed to the College of Medicine at NUI, Galway, for the purpose of teaching and advancement in medical research. Predeceased by her father Archie, mother Annamary, sister Rosie, brothers Archie, Alan and Noel. The death occurred, peacefully, in Bourges France, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 of Anne Walker (née Dowling) Carrigeen, Kilglass, Co Roscommon. Beloved wife of Kevin, much-loved mother to Cillian and Mark. predeceased by her mother Eileen, father Michael, sisters Pauleen and Patricia. The death occurred, peacefully in her 97th year at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, December 8, 2022 of Kathleen Moran (née Lynch), Aughameeny, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by her husband Willie, parents Patrick and Catherine, brothers John-James, Terry and Michael (recently deceased), sisters May (Clarke) and Frances (McCarthy). The death occurred, peacefully, at Orange Health Service Hospital, in his 63rd year as a priest, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 of Fr James Kane, late of Mornington, Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath and Bathurst Diocese, NSW, Australia. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Margaret (née O’Neill), his brother Christy and his sister Philomena Aylward.
Sadly missed by his loving family, nieces and nephews, Margaret, Paddy, Helen, Mary, Katie, Christine, Patricia, Christopher, Phil and Edel, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grand nephews, great-grand niece, relatives, Bishop Michael McKenna, his fellow priests, many friends and especially the many people in Orange and Molong parishes.
