he death occurred, at Kettering General Hospital after many years of ill health, on Friday, February 25, 2022 of Bridget Rose (Bridie) Norton, formerly Ballinamuck, Co. Longford, aged 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eamonn, her sister Philomena, Gerard and all the family in Ireland and friends.
Requiem Mass for Bridie will be held at Our Lady of Walsingham Church, Occupation Road, Corby on Friday, March 18 at 10am followed by interment at Shire Lodge Cemetery. Mary Smith (née Rogers), Donaghmede, Dublin / Lanesboro, Co Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 12, 2022 of Mary Smith (nee Rogers), Grange Abbey, Donaghmede and late of Cloontuskert, Lanesboro, Co Longford.
Mary; sadly missed by her loving husband Brian, son Alan, daughter Emma, son in law Maurice, grandchildren Natalya, Lee and Alex, brother Michael, sister Ann, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May Mary Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening, March 15 from 4pm to 7pm. Enda (Andy) Gilmore, Manchester, England, Longford / Monaghan


The death occurred, peacefully, in Manchester, England, on Monday, February 28, 2022 of Enda (Andy) Gilmore, Manchester, England and formerly of Lanesboro, Longford and Monaghan. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Muriel and parents John and Kathleen.
Enda (Andy) will be forever missed by his loving family, daughter, sons, grandchildren, brothers Brendan (Longford), James ( London), Tony (Lanesboro) Nicholas (Drumlish), Damian (Dublin) and Cosmos (Galway / Brussels), sisters Teresa (Lanesboro), Ann (Manchester), Colette (Manchester), Caroline (Manchester) and Lorraine (Ballyleague), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends here in Ireland and Manchester.

Elizabeth Barrett (née Healy), Monkstown, Dublin / Longford


The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness, on Thursday, March 3, 2022 of Elizabeth Barrett (née Healy) of Monkstown Dublin, formerly of Tennis Court Lane, Longford. Beloved by her daughters Terry, Shelly and Hilda, extended family and great friends, she will be sadly missed. May she Rest in Peace.

The death occurred on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 of Stephen (Sam) Cantwell, suddenly, late of Riverside Road, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim and formerly of Killbarron Road Kilmore West, Dublin.
Stephen will be sadly missed by his mother Vera, brothers Tony and Gordon, sisters Vera, Vicky, and Michelle. brothers-in-law John and Will. sister-in-law Debbie and his partner Maureen, sons Stephen, Jake and Taig, daughter Amanda, nephews and nieces, grandchildren, aunts, uncles and friends. Removal on Monday morning, March 14 to the the Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, Kilmore West arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, on Friday, March 11, 2022 of Eamon Foran, Lough Erril, Mohill, Leitrim (Retired School Inspector). Predeceased by his brother Tadhg (Athenry). Eamon will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Sheila Flynn (Galway), Myra O’Leary (Galway), Ursula Deane (Dublin) and Carmel Doherty (Kilclare), brother Liam (Dublin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mabel Elliott (née Johnston), Castle Gardens, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Arva, Co Cavan
The death occurred on Friday, March 11, 2022 of Mabel Elliott (nee Johnston), Castle Gardens, Kilkenny and formerly of Arva, Co Cavan. Mum, moved peacefully and seamlessly from life on earth to life with her Saviour, Jesus Christ in Heaven.
Dearly loved wife of the late Harry. Precious mother of Trevor and Naomi. Mother-in-law of Aileen, grandmother of Jennifer (Radek) and Tracey (Adas) and great-grandmother of Joshua, Rebeka, Elias, Izabella, Daniel and Makayla. She will be sadly missed.
A Service of Thanksgiving will take place on Monday, March 14 at 3pm in Kilkenny Presbyterian Church, New Road, Kilkenny followed by burial in St Kieran's Cemetery. Family flowers only. House private please.
