Nicholas Gent, Rooskey Lodge, Rooskey, Leitrim / Kildare / Longford

The recent death has occurred on Sunday March 31st, 2019 of Nicholas Gent, Rooskey Lodge, Rooskey, Leitrim/ Longford, peacefully at his home in Rooskey, formerly of Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Nicholas will be sadly missed by his brothers Con and Ter, neighbours and friends. Beloved by family, cherished by friends. Rest in peace.

Reposing on Monday, 1st of April, in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66, from 2.00 o'clock until 3.30 0'clock followed by removal to Lakeland Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan, for cremation at 5.00 o'clock.

Philip (Phil) Hourican,Tullybawn, Ballinalee, Longford

The recent death has occurred on Sunday March 31st, 2019 of Philip (Phil) Hourican, Tullybawn, Ballinalee, Co. Longford, peacefully, at St Joseph's Hospital Longford.

Predeceased by his sister Anna Quinn and brother Michael. Deeply regretted by his cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St Joseph's Hospital Chapel, Longford, from 5.30pm until 7.15pm this Monday evening (1st April) with prayers at 7pm. Removal arriving at St James' Church, Clonbroney, at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday April 2nd at 12 noon with burial in the adjoining cemetery.


Padraig Higgins, Corrigeen, Eslin, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Longford

The recent death has occurred on Saturday March 30th, 2019 of Padraig Higgins, Corrigeen, Eslin, Carrick-on-Shannon, peacefully, in Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick-Joseph and Margaret.

Padraig will be sadly missed by his wife Ann-marie, son Alan, granddaughter Bryana, brothers-in-law John and Jim O'Neill, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, Forever in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

Reposing in Shannon Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Roosky, Co Roscommon on Monday 1st April from 6.30pm concluding with prayers at 9.00pm. Removal on Tuesday April 2nd to St Patrick's Church, Mohill, for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

Peter Masterson, Leixlip, Kildare / Longford

The recent death has occurred on Friday March 29th, 2019 of Peter Masterson, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kilmore, Co. Longford and Ex Dublin County Council, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Peter, beloved husband of Una and dear father of Petula, Marisa and Ciaran. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Monday evening (1st. April) from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm. Removal to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey, Leixlip on Tuesday morning (2nd. April) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Trócaire.

Maria Harte, Malahide, Dublin / Ballinamore, Leitrim

The recent death has occurred on Friday March 29th, 2019 of Maria Harte, Malahide, Dublin and formerly of Lahard, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, surrounded by her loving family at the Bons Secours Hospital, Glasnevin.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Gerry Hanifan, her parents John & Mary, brothers Conor, Shane & Aidan, sisters, Janette, Anita & Lynda, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Colum, Gene, Padraig and Richard, sisters-in-law Tina, Helen, Gráinne, Alison and Martina, beloved nephews & nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Ballinamore at the home of her sister Janette Harte McManus, Corgar on Monday April 1st from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore on Tuesday 2nd April at 12 noon followed by cremation at the Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
