The trio were detained on Friday afternoon
Gardaí have arrested three suspects involved in an alleged brawl and assault in Longford town last weekend.
The violent disturbance occurred at around 9.30pm on Saturday night and it is believed up to 10 men were involved.
It is understood one man, who is from a local family, was seriously assaulted and he suffered severe and horrendous injuries to one of his ears.
The injured party, aged in his twenties, was rushed to the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar by ambulance where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Footage of the alleged incident has been widely circulated online in recent days.
The alleged brawl is believed to have started outside a nearby pub before escalating down Ballymahon Street.
Gardaí have interviewed a large number of people in connection with the incident and most of the public order incident was captured on CCTV.
