Edward ‘Ted’ Quirke, West View Creevaghbeg, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, February 13 of Edward ‘Ted’ Quirke, West View Creevaghbeg, Ballymahon, Longford. Predeceased by his wife Anne, sadly missed by his daughters Maria and Karen, sons-in-law Brian and Gregg, his 3 grandchildren Robert, Cian and Emma, his sisters Kathleen, Mary and Eileen, his brothers Michael and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and very kind neighbours and many friends.Rest in Peace.
Reposing in his residence this Saturday, February 16 from 4pm until 7pm. House private on Sunday morning, February 17 please. Funeral Mass on Sunday, February 17 in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, at 11.30am followed by burial in Forgney Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Joe Ward, Clongowney, Mullingar, Westmeath / Mohill, Leitrim

The death occurred, suddenly, at Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, on Tuesday, February 12 of Joe Ward, Clongowney, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Drumcolligan, Mohill, Co Leitrim (retired An Garda Siochána). Predeceased by his brother Tom. Joe will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Helen (McCormack), sister Bernadette, cousin Anna, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. May Joe Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 16 at 12 noon in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marlinstown, Mullingar. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to ISPCA.


John ‘Johnnie’ Cremin, Aughnaglace, Aughavas, Leitrim / Millstreet, Cork
The death occurred, suddenly, at his home, on Monday, February 11 of John ‘Johnnie’ Cremin of Aughnaglace, Aughavas, Co Leitrim and formerly of Millstreet, Co Cork. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his brother, sister, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. May Johnnie Rest in Peace.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, February 16 at Ballydaly Church, Millstreet, Co Cork. House private at all times please.

John McHugh, The Neale, Mayo / Leitrim
The recent death has occurred of John McHugh, Twickenham, England and formerly of The Neale, Co Mayo.
Funeral Mass at St Patrick's Church, Mohill, Co Leitrim this Saturday, February 16 at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Shane McRann, Mountallen, Drumshanbo, Roscommon
The death occurred on Wednesday, February 13 of Shane McRann, Mountallen, Drumshanbo, Roscommon, died at St James' Hospital, after a long illness.
Predeceased by his parents Jim and Nellie and his sister Evelyn. Sadly missed by his sisters Angela, Frances, Monica and Mia, niece Ella, nephews Fergal and Dereck, brother-in-laws TP, Pauric, Darryl and Derek, long standing friend and staff member Patricia, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal on Saturday, February 16 to the Church of the Nativity, Keadue, for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial immediately afterwards in old cemetery, Drumshanbo. House Private Please. Enquiries to O’Dowd’s Funeral Directors, Croghan (087) 9195202.
