The death occurred suddenly at the University Hospital, Limerick on Saturday, July 5, 2025 of Aiden Drake, Carrickduff, Granard, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his mother Nancy. Cherished son of Eamon and treasured brother of Maura and Terry. Aiden will be sadly missed by his loving family, brother-in-law Paul, sister-in-law Áine, nieces Kateri, Annie, Norah and Maisie, nephews Colin and Eamon, aunts, uncles, relatives, friends, neighbours and especially his friends and carers at Hillview House, Fastragh, Aughnacliffe. Aiden will repose at Smiths Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Granard (Eircode N39AX97) on Wednesday, July 9 from 4pm to 8pm with the family taking a break between 6pm and 6.30pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning, July 10 arriving at St Bernard's Church, Abbeylara for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in Granardkill New Cemetery. The death occurred peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip on Saturday, July 5, 2025 of Joseph (Joe) O'Sullivan, late of Knocklyon and formerly of Ballinalee, Co. Longford.

The death occurred unexpectedly in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada on Thursday, December 19, 2024 of Anthony ‘Tony’ Patrick John Brennan, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and formerly of Harbour Row, Longford town, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his parents Winnifred ‘Dolly’ and Francis ‘Dex’ and by his sisters Netta, Laurie and Mary. Tony will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Rosanne, his cherished children Elizabeth, Eileen, Maureen and John, grandchild Henry, sons-in-law Kevin and Joseph, daughter-in-law Catherine, sisters Vickie and Cathy, brothers Michael, Frankie, John Joe and Davie, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Tommy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at Park Lawn Crematorium in Sudbury. As Tony asked for his remains to be brought home to Ireland, Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Monday, July 14 at 11am in St Mel’s Cathedral, interment of ashes afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Bridget and her brothers Pat, Tom, Mike, James, John (Séan) and her sister Anne. Devoted wife to Les. Adoring mother to Carol and Gary. Loving sister to Gerry, Much loved mother in-law to Kevin and Sharon. Adored grandmother to Natalie, Rebecca, Shaun, Molly and Niall. Sorely missed by Great grandchildren and extended family, neighbours and friends. Bridie lived a life of love, fun and caring that touched so many people’s lives and we will all miss her deeply. Seamus was from Correally, Streete, Lismicaffrey, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and later in his life in Mitcham, Surrey UK. The funeral service will be held at St Cecilia’s RC Church, Cheam Surrey at 11am on Tuesday, July 22.
