The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her heartbroken family in the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan on Saturday, June 14, 2025 of Mary McCormack (née Lennon), Bawn T5, Longford and formerly of Cruckalissa, Killoe, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her parents James and Bridget, sister Patricia and brother-in-law Terry. Mary will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by her family, her husband and best friend Tommy, her cherished children Joe, Stephen and Trisha, daughter-in-law Edel, her adored grandchildren Páidí and Erin, brothers Jimmy and Michael, sister Theresa, brothers-in-law Jimmy McCormack, Theresa's partner Mike, sisters-in-law Mary and Josie (McCormack), Roisin and Mary (Lennon) and Sarah McCormack, nephews, nieces, relatives and her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Mary will repose in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford N39 KN66 on Monday, June 16 from 5pm until 9pm. Removal from her home on Tuesday, June 17 to arrive to St Mary's Church, Ennybegs, N39 AH01 for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Following Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in Aughaboy Cemetery. The death occurred peacefully aged 86 years on Thursday, May 29, 2025 of Michael Patrick Nugent of Hall Green, Birmingham, and formerly of Rooskey, Co Roscommon, Ireland.
Predeceased by his sister Mary, brother William, and son-in-law Rob. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Bridie; his daughters, Julie and Denise; his son-in-law, Damian; and his beloved grandchildren, Lily, Isabelle, Iris, and James. Also deeply missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all of his extended family.
