Pamela Farrell (née Byrne) Derrygeel, Lanesboro, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024 of Pamela Farrell (nee Byrne), Derrygeel, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved son Ciaran. Pamela will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband Patrick, sons Martin, Paul, Colm and Damien, daughters-in-law Ivane, Marjanna and Rebecca, grandchildren Jack and Lily, Jonathon, Elderoma, Amarantha and Belladonna, brother John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, August 15 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro at 11am on Friday, August 16 followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium at 2.15pm. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live please go to www.churchtv.ie/lanesborough

Eddie O'Shea, White Linen Woods , Longford Town, Longford, N39 W2T9

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 9, 2024 of Eddie O’Shea, White Linen Woods, Longford town. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Ethel, sisters Patsy, Frances, Trixie and Elizabeth (Betty) and by his brothers Robert and Sonny. Eddie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Michelle, son-in-law John, brothers Billy, Johnny and Richie, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the residence of his daughter Michelle and son-in-law John, 37 White Linen Woods (N39 W2T9), on Sunday, August 11 from 2pm until 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St Mel’s Cathedral on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live please go to www.longfordparish.com

Evelyn May Wright (née McCormack), ‘Inny View’, Abbeyshrule, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the nurses and staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home on Thursday, August 8, 2024 of Evelyn May Wright (nee McCormack), ‘Inny View’, Abbeyshrule, Ballymahon, Co Longford.    

Predeceased by her husband Griffith, brothers William, Robert, Cecil, Walter, Ivan, Albert, Edwin and Frederick and by her infant grand-daughters Alice and Letitia. Deeply loved by her son Stanley, daughters Lind, Daphne and Beatrice, brother George, daughter-in-law Evelyn, sons-in-law Wesley, John and Kin, grandchildren Vanessa and her husband Adam, Echlin, Yuri, Sau , Jonas and Anna, great-grandchildren Samuel and Noah, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and her wider circle of relatives and friends.

Resting at Newbrook Nursing Home Chapel (N91 RW14) on Friday, August 9 from 5pm until 7pm. Resting at the residence of her son Stanley and daughter-in-law Evelyn’s residence, Dairycrest, Abbeyshrule (N39 EN24) on Saturday, August 10 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Service on Sunday, August 11 at 2pm in the Holy Trinity Church, Tashinny (N39 K500), interment afterwards in Carrickedmond graveyard. “Safe in the arms of Jesus”.

Louise Gooding (née Mann) Baytree Lodge, Drumdoo, Mohill, Co Leitrim

The death occurred suddenly at home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 of Louise Gooding (neé Mann), Baytree Lodge, Drumdoo, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly Capetown, South Africa. Predeceased by her sister Alison, Louise will be reunited with her beloved grandson Carter. Sadly missed by her loving family, husband Paul, daughter Courtney, sons Gavin, David and Michael, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren, sisters Shelagh, Susan and Joyce, brother David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. At Rest. Louise’s cremation service will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Sunday, August 11 at 1pm.
