The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 of PJ Farrell Ferefad, Longford Town. Predeceased by his sisters Kathleen Reilly and Mary Egan. PJ will be dearly missed by his loving family; wife Loretta, daughter Mairéad and son Patrick (Paddy), son-in-law Aron, Paddy's fiancée Niamh, cherished granddaughter Maeve, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Friday evening, June 28 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, June 29 at 11am in St Mel's Cathedral, Longford, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Fabian Walsh, Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford / Tuam, Galway

The death occurred suddenly but peacefully in his 94th year on Sunday, June 23, 2024 of Fabian Walsh, Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Founding member of Lough Ree Athletics Club and past Chairman of Bord Luthchleas Og na hEireann. Predeceased by his beloved wife Renee and by his brothers Fr Killian, Gabriel, Miko and Hilary. Fabian will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Diane, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

The death occurred suddenly in his home on Monday, June 24, 2024 of Harijs Paunins 24 Dun Darrach, Dublin Road, Longford town. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Vera Paunina, daughters Inese Rudzite and Sabine Pucka, son-in-law Alvydas, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends here in Ireland and Latvia. Reposing at Lough Erril Private Nursing Home Oratory, Mohill on Wednesday evening, June 26 from 6pm until 8pm. With removal on Thursday morning, June 27 to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna, arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with burial afterwards to Kiltoghert Cemetery. The death occurred unexpectedly at Cavan General Hospital on Sunday, June 23, 2024 of Maxine McIntyre, 7 Tycusker, Arva, Cavan. Predeceased by her loving husband Louis.
