The death occurred suddenly but peacefully in his 94th year on Sunday, June 23, 2024 of Fabian Walsh, Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Founding member of Lough Ree Athletics Club and past Chairman of Bord Luthchleas Og na hEireann. Predeceased by his beloved wife Renee and by his brothers Fr Killian, Gabriel, Miko and Hilary. Fabian will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Diane, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road Longford (N39 EC81) on Thursday evening, June 27 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the resurrection on Friday, June 28 at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church Lanesboro, internment afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery. Family flowers only please.

John Johnson Mullinroe, Dring, Longford / Dunshaughlin, Meath

The death occurred peacefully in the General Hospital, Cavan on Sunday, June 23, 2024 of John Johnson, Mullinroe, Dring, Co Longford and formerly of Dunshaughlin, Co Meath.  Deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, family Richard, Majella and Niall, brother Charlie, sister Mary, brothers in law, relatives and friends. Gerard Francis (Gerry) Quinn, Dunaras, Ballymulvey, Ballymahon, Longford

The death occurred peacefully after a long illness fought with great strength and bravery on Saturday, June 22, 2024 of Gerard Francis (Gerry) Quinn (25/10/1962 - 22/06/2024), Dunaras, Ballymulvey, Ballymahon, Longford. Gerry passed to his eternal reward comforted by his wife, children and his loving family in the compassionate care of Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

Gerry is predeceased by his parents Patsy and Mary and his sister Mary. He will be forever loved and his memory cherished by his loving wife Gemma (nee Rowan), his beloved son Jack and Jack's partner Niamh and his darling Nicole. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, Anne (Paraic) Ballinteer, Mel (Joe) Coralstown, Kinnegad, Penny (Liam) Cloncullen, Aiden (Bernie) Cloncullen, John (Breda) New York, his much loved nephew Philip (Emer) Cloncullen, all his nieces and nephews, extended family members and Gerry and Gemma's dear friend Paula. He will also be greatly missed by many people near and far with whom he shared much laughter and friendship. Rest In Peace.

Gerry will repose at Shaw's Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91RY65) on Monday, June 24 from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 25 at 11am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Forgney, Co Longford (N91AE35), followed by Cremation at 2pm in Lakeland's Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12RF78).

 A special word of thanks and acknowledgment to Dr Neil Healy, Riverpark Medical, Ballymahon, O'Hanlon's Pharmacy, Ballymahon, The Medical Team and Staff at Midlands Regional Hospital's Tullamore and Mullingar. Gemma will be forever grateful to the Management and Staff of Athlone Laboratories Ltd, who were a tremendous support during Gerry's long illness. Many thanks to Michael McCawley for carrying out Gerry's final wishes with such dignity and respect.

The death occurred peacefully at home in the care of her heartbroken family on Saturday, June 22, 2024 of Marian Ó'Neill (née Doherty), Vicarstown, Legan, Longford / Westmeath. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Kitty. Marian will be remembered with love by her family, husband Mick, daughter Gillian, sons Declan, Damien, Paddy, Noel, Nicky and Michael, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her adored grandchildren Elliot, Ryan, Evie, Caitlin, Cillian, Conor, Katie, Grace, Skylar, Tia and Demi, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and dear friends.

The death occurred peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 22, 2024 of Patrick (Patsy) Kelly, 47 Padraic Colum Heights, Longford Town, Longford and formerly of Granard, Co Longford. Predeceased by his son Paul, daughter Sarah, brothers John pat and Brendan. The death occurred peacefully, at her home in the loving care of her family, after a long illness on Monday, June 24, 2024 of Ethel Carroll (nee Hegarty), Clare, Strokestown, Co Roscommon.  Predeceased by her husband Willie, grandson Liam, adored Hegarty Siblings, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Maxine McIntyre, Tycusker, Arva, Cavan

The death occurred unexpectedly at Cavan General Hospital on Sunday, June 23, 2024 of Maxine McIntyre, 7 Tycusker, Arva, Cavan. Predeceased by her loving husband Louis. Maxine will be very sadly missed by her loving partner Sean (Rusty) Reilly and daughters; Samantha (Thomas), Verity (Frank), adored grandchildren; Áine, Mark, Ellen and Ava, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death occurred peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 22, 2024 of Mary Cox (nee Bourke), Antfield, Aughamore, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her parents Matthew & Mary and her brother Paddy. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 25 at 12pm with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private to family members only. The death occurred peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 21, 2024 of Aidan Woods, Ashgrove, Ballinagh, Cavan. Predeceased by his devoted wife Roisín and his parents Patrick and Mannie Woods, Killeshandra. Devoted father of Sharon (John Webb), Aisling (Paul Mc Dermott) and Garry (Emer Conlon). Adored grandfather of Alanah, Aaron, Holly, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Conor, Senán and Nessa. Aidan will be very sadly missed by his loving family and grandchildren, his brothers Michael, Seamus, Frank, Christy and Brendan, sisters Maureen Casey, Peg Duffy and Eileen Feeney, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan (H12C821) on Sunday evening, June 23 from 5pm and concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning, June 24 to St Felim's Church, Ballinagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass the cortege will travel to the new Cemetery, Crossdoney Road, for committal prayers and burial in the family plot. The death occurred peacefully at his residence in Tipperary on Monday, June 17, 2024 of Brian Dolan, Glenview Square, Tipperary town and late of Boley, Bawnboy, Cavan and London. Predeceased by his parents John and Ann, his son Michael, his first wife Bernie, his brother James and sister Bridie. Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning, June 24 to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Corlough for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death occurred peacefully at Sligo University Hospital on Thursday, June 20, 2024 of Angela Fox, Convent Avenue, Drumshanbo, Leitrim/ Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon. April 5, 1953 - June 20, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Eithne Gannon.
