Margaret (Maggie) McNerney (née Reilly), Legga, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 of Margaret (Maggie) McNerney (née Reilly), Legga, Moyne , Co Longford and formerly of Cornea, Arva, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, son Seamus and by her daughter Helen Curran. Maggie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family sons Joe, Francis and Eamon, daughters Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (Leeds), Margaret McGahern (Mullahoran) and Anne-marie, daughters-in-law Theresa, Helen and Kitty, sons-in-law Tony, Charlie and Brian, sister Lil (Leeds), sisters-in-law, her 19 grandchildren, her 24 great-grandchildren, nieces ,nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Saturday, June 15 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday, June 16 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Legga, interment afterwards in Legga cemetery. The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 of Thomas Donegan, Ferefad, Ardagh Road, Longford town and formerly of Whiterock, Longford.  Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Annie, sister Angela and by his brother Michael. Thomas will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Mary Barry (New York) and Patricia Ryan (Galway), brother-in-law Tony, nieces, nephews, partner Sheila, relatives and a wide circle of special friends. Trevor O'Reilly, Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Cavan / Longford

The death occurred, suddenly at his home, on Monday, June 10, 2024 of Trevor O'Reilly, Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Cavan / Longford. Predeceased by his mother Anne. Sadly missed by his loving wife Roisin, children Martin, Trevor Jack (Leah), Declan (Ellie), and Melisa his father John, sister Aisling, brother Philip, grandchildren Nedaleigh and Bonnie, mother-in-law Ann, brother's-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 of Anna (Phyllis) Walsh, late of Harold's Cross, Dublin / Granard, Longford. Predeceased by her brothers Benny and John G. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Bernadette(McLoughlin), Mairead (Field), Monica (Sheerin), Ita (Sorohan) and sister-in-law Angela. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May She Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Friday, June 14 from 5pm to 6:30pm followed by removal at 7pm to Mount Argus Church. Funeral Mass at 12.30pm Saturday, June 15 followed by burial in Granardkille Cemetery, Granard, Co Longford. Arriving at Granardkille at 3:30pm approximately. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill, Co Leitrim, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 of Patrick Fitzpatrick, Drumloona, Carrigallen, Leitrim. Predeceased by his sister Mary and brother John Francis. Deeply regretted by his brothers Jim and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Margaret, Sr Regina and Breege, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore N41 TD62 on Friday evening, June 14 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral mass in St Mary's Church, Drumeela Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024 of Michael Clyne, Crumpsall, Manchester, England and Sleehaun, Lenamore, Legan, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Elizabeth and by his sisters Maggie and Terry. Michael will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, beloved wife Joan, daughters Elizabeth, Joanna, Kerry and Eileen, son Michael, sisters Jerry and Eileen, brother Tom, daughter-in-law Teresa, sons-in-law Jimmy, Gary, Jacko and Marko, grandchildren Ellie, Jessica, Ethan, Scarlett, Aoife and Myla, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The death occurred peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday, June 10, 2024 of John Joe Brady, Cortober, Arva, Co Cavan. Loving husband and best friend of Chris. Predeceased by his parents, Laurance and Mary Kate, Brother Laurance (La), sisters Nancy, Rita and treasured niece Therese, brothers in law and sisters in law. Sadly missed by his brother Mike (Mullingar), sister Kathleen (Kildare), brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces and a wide circle of wonderful neighbours and friends. The death occurred peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 10, 2024 of Anne Smith (née Jordan), Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and formerly Ferns, Co Wexford. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Peter. Sadly missed by her sister, Kathleen Moorehouse (Co Wexford) and the Smith families (Aughawelia), nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Wednesday, June 12 from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Removal on Thursday, June 13 to arrive at St Mary's Church, Bruskey for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in Mullaghboy Cemetery. House private to family and close friends.
