The death occurred, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, March 30, 2024 of Paddy Nertney, Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Longford, N39 R8Y8. Predeceased by infant daughter Patricia, parents Pat and Maggie Nertney. Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Mary, his children Eamon, Leona, Gearoid, Sharon, Eileen, Aisling and Jason, sons in-law Ciaran, Stephen, Ciaran and Ollie, daughters in-law Louise, Aisling and partner Nicole, his adored grandchildren Jamie, Jack, Ria, Ruby, Noah, Ella, Brugha, Tessa and Chloe, sisters Margaret, Eileen, Mary and Brigid, brother Benny, extended family, relatives & friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home in Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Co Longford (N39 R8Y8) from 5pm to 8pm on Sunday, March 31. Funeral mass Monday, April 1 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Drumlish, followed by burial in new cemetery. Funeral mass can be streamed live by clicking on the following link.

The death occurred on Friday, March 29, 2024 of Christina Carrig (née Galvin), Bannon Terrace, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by her parents John and Kathleen, beloved son John and dear husband Cyril. Christina will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter Mary (Kenny), sons Kevin, Cyril and David, brothers John and Mick, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Monday, April 1 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of The Resurrection on Tuesday, April 2 at 11am in St Mel’s Cathedral, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully, at home surrounded by her familyon Friday, March 29, 2024 of Peggie Gibbons (née Cusker), The Demesne, Longford Town, Longford, N39 Y0Y8. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Mary Ann, sisters Lena, Ellie, Mary and Susan and by her brothers Packie, John and Gerry. Peggie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband Gerry, daughter Sharon, sons Stephen and Geoffrey, daughters-in-law Edel and Noelle, son-in-law Cathal, grandchildren Seán, Ruairí and Holly, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, at home after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, March 29, 2024 of Mary Norton (née Fox), Dunlum, Moate, Co Westmeath and formerly Forgney, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents John and Annie, husband Noel, sons John and Gerard, Beloved mother of Mary, Noel and Jackie, adored grandchildren Gerard and Saoirse, daughter in law Cathy, good neighbours and many friends. May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, at St Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 29, 2024 of Dr Catherine O'Neill (née Gallagher), Donnybrook, Dublin and late of Longford and Lucan, Co Dublin. Dearly beloved wife of Henry and much loved mother of Sarah, Shane, Vinnie and Carla. She will be greatly missed by her family, her sisters Marie and Bernie, brothers James and Charles, sons-in-law Tom and Shane, daughters-in-law Orla and Melanie, her treasured grandchildren Ryan, Henry, Lucy, Sebastian, Euan, Luca and Fleur, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends. Rest in Peace.

Carmel Donohoe (née Wynne) Knocknacarra, Galway / Cashel, Tipperary / Longford

The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 28, 2024 of Carmel Donohoe (nee Wynne) Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly Cashel Co Tipperary and Kilrickle, Co Galway. Beloved wife of Dr Pat and much loved mother of Donal, Eileen, John and Elizabeth. Predeceased by her Parents Jim and Lily Wynne and by her sister Eilis Byrne. Carmel will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband, daughters and sons, brothers Kevin and Donal, sister Bridín, sons-in-law Fionn and Spencer, daughter-in-law Jennifer, her adored grandchildren Alannah, Michelle, Liam, Conor, Lily and Caoimhe, the extended Donohoe and Wynne family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at St Anthony's Room within the Church of St John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway on Easter Sunday March 31 from 3pm with removal into the Church at 4.30pm. The death occurred peacefully, in the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, with his loving wife Mary and family at his side on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 of Thomas Patrick (TP) Loftus, Benison Lodge, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and formerly of Cloughbrack, Bofeenaun, Co Mayo.  Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ellen and his sister Mary. Sadly missed by his wife Mary, sons Anthony, Tommy and Colum, daughters Carmel (Reilly), Eileen and Catherine (Ward), sons-in-law Seamus and Joe, daughters-in-law Rosanna and Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan (N91 VF51) on Saturday, March 30 from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 5pm, followed by removal to the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, arriving for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Easter Sunday, March 31 at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please; donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation. The death occurred peacefully at Moorehall Lodge Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 of Frances Heslin (nee Mullally), Beechview, Jonesboro, Carnaross, Kells, Co Meath and formerly Kilgola Finea, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her daughter Edwina, grandson Oisin, son in law Brian, her parents Thomas and Rose, siblings Phyllis, Kit, Noel, Liam and Rhodie. Sadly missed by her loving husband Eddie, children Caroline, Rosemary, Julie and Edward, grandchildren Rebecca, Liam, Brian, Shane, Niall, Eimear, Jack, Leah, Fionn. Her great grandchildren Connor and Caoimhe. Brothers in law, sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends. May She Rest In Peace.
