The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 28, 2024 of Carmel Donohoe (nee Wynne) Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly Cashel Co Tipperary and Kilrickle, Co Galway. Beloved wife of Dr Pat and much loved mother of Donal, Eileen, John and Elizabeth. Predeceased by her Parents Jim and Lily Wynne and by her sister Eilis Byrne. Carmel will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband, daughters and sons, brothers Kevin and Donal, sister Bridín, sons-in-law Fionn and Spencer, daughter-in-law Jennifer, her adored grandchildren Alannah, Michelle, Liam, Conor, Lily and Caoimhe, the extended Donohoe and Wynne family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at St Anthony's Room within the Church of St John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway on Easter Sunday March 31 from 3pm with removal into the Church at 4.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Carmel at 12 noon on Easter Monday, April 1 Livestream HERE. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis. The death occurred peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 of Kathleen Forbes (nee Burke), Derry, Ballymahon, Co Longford and formerly Ballyglunin, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her husband Bill. Deeply regretted by her children, Anne, Helen, William, Nuala and Robert, her daughter in law Helen, all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. James’s Hospital, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 of Pat (Patrick) Phillips, Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Ballinagh, Cavan. Beloved husband of Nora and loving father to Fiona and Ronan. Predeceased by his brothers Niall, Frank, and Brian, and sisters Nuala and Moya; Pat will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, son, son-in-law James, his five grandchildren, his sisters Eithne and Finola, and all extended family, neighbours and friends. As per Pat’s wishes, a private family funeral will take place in the coming days. House private please.

The death occurred peacefully, in the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, with his loving wife Mary and family at his side on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 of Thomas Patrick (TP) Loftus, Benison Lodge, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and formerly of Cloughbrack, Bofeenaun, Co Mayo. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ellen and his sister Mary. Sadly missed by his wife Mary, sons Anthony, Tommy and Colum, daughters Carmel (Reilly), Eileen and Catherine (Ward), sons-in-law Seamus and Joe, daughters-in-law Rosanna and Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan (N91 VF51) on Saturday, March 30 from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 5pm, followed by removal to the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, arriving for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Easter Sunday, March 31 at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please; donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.
