The death occurred peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 of Kathleen Forbes (nee Burke), Derry, Ballymahon, Co Longford and formerly Ballyglunin, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her husband Bill. Deeply regretted by her children, Anne, Helen, William, Nuala and Robert, her daughter in law Helen, all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. James’s Hospital, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 of Pat (Patrick) Phillips, Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Ballinagh, Cavan. Beloved husband of Nora and loving father to Fiona and Ronan. Predeceased by his brothers Niall, Frank, and Brian, and sisters Nuala and Moya; Pat will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, son, son-in-law James, his five grandchildren, his sisters Eithne and Finola, and all extended family, neighbours and friends. Beloved wife of Brendan, much adored mother of Amy, Danny & Lara and cherished nana of Cadhla. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Eithne, Oliver and Claire, son in law Brian, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and by her many wonderful friends. Reposing at her home Gurteengar, Lanesboro, Co. Longford, N39 E378 on Wednesday, March 27 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, March 28 in St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro, Co Longford at 11.30am. A private cremation service will take place afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium at 2pm.
