The death occurred on Friday, March 15, 2024 of Kathleen O’Brien, Sandymount, Dublin and formerly of Park Road, Longford. Predeceased by her parents Dan and Mary Ann, sisters Bridie, Rosaleen, Guina and Pauline, brothers Thomas, Danny and Seamus, nieces Miriam and Ann and nephew Tom. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St James’s Hospital, Dublin on Thursday, March 14, 2024 of Sam Noble, Cornadrung, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford and Main Street, Killeshandra, Co Cavan. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Evelyn, daughter Jill, son Andrew, daughter-in-law Fiona, son-in-law Gary, grandchildren Dylan, Bryan, Mark and Emma, Dylan’s partner Kaitlin, great-grandchild Molly, sister Leila, brother Harry, sisters-in- law Heather, Irene and Sylvia and brother-in-law Joel, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many many friends. It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Eddie and her infant son Robert and her brothers and sisters, Larry, Seamus, John, Patricia, Annie, Maisie and Roisin. Reposing at the residence of her son Stephen at Ballagh Road, Stonepark, Longford (N39 F3C2) this Thursday, March 14 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers. Removal on Friday morning, March 15 for mass of the Resurrection in St Matthew’s Church Ballymahon at 11am followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully, after a very short illness, in the care of the staff at Mullingar Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 of Gerard Rooney, Lough Ree Park, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and formerly of Cookstown, Co Tyrone. He will be very sadly missed by his family; Damien, Paul, Mary and David, brothers Robert and Brendan, sister Anne, daughters-in-law Jaime, Karo and Bernadette, son-in-law Brían, grandchildren Eleanor, Rosabel, Lily and Edith, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
