The death occurred in Mullingar Regional Hospital with his dearly loved family by his side on Sunday, December 31, 2023 of Berney Rowley, Crieve, Killoe, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Ellen, brothers Paddy, Jimmy, Jack, Petie and sister Nanny. Berney will be deeply missed and always remembered by his family, his beloved wife Rita, daughters Gráinne and Donna, son-in-law Aidan Murphy (Clonca, Edgeworthstown), adored grandchildren Albie and Kayleigh, sisters Ellie Farrell (Carrabeg) and Molly Quinn (Drumshanbo South), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Rest in Peace Barney.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford, N39 KN66, on Wednesday, January 3 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from his home on Thursday, January 4 to arrive to St Oliver's Church, Cullyfad, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, Berney will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family and with the excellent care of the nursing staff at the Lisdarn Unit Cavan on Sunday, December 31, 2023 of Oliver Denneny, Kilcogy, Cavan/ Longford. Predeceased by his wife Bridie, parents Annie and Jimmie, sister Anna Bríd (Reilly), brothers Sean and Seamus.
