The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 of Rita McDermott (nee Dowd), Clonterm, Longford. Predeceased by her husband Joe, son Sean, parents, sisters and brothers. Rita will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Elizabeth Yorke and Theresa Quinn, sons Dermot, Richard and Joseph, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Maggie, sons-in-law Declan and Ronan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, September 14 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, September 15 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 11am, interment afterwards in Killashee cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live Please view here

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Mater Hospital on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 of Rita Curley (née Murtagh), Ellesmere Avenue, Dublin 7 and late of Clonard, Clondra, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband John and beloved mother of Anne and Florence. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, sister Vera, brother Sean, nephew Seamus, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours. May Rita Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 (D07CF68) from 5pm to 7pm Friday evening, September 15. Rita’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, September 16 at 10am in the Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street. The cortège will then travel to Aghamore Cemetery, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo for burial at approximately 2.30pm.
Ciara McKenna 12 Ardan Alainn, Farnagh Hill, Longford Town, Longford

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved daughter and sister Ciara McKenna, in her home on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Predeceased by her aunt Deirdre, her grandparents Finbar and Nancy / Patrick and Mary-Jo. Ciara will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, parents Fiona and Seamus, sister Anna, brothers Andrew and Mark, aunts and uncles, her darling niece Caitlin, cousins neighbours and her many good friends. Funeral cortege will leave her home on Thursday, September 14 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral, Longford, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Una Reilly Coralanna, Lismacaffrey, Westmeath / Longford

The death occurred peacefully in Florida USA on Friday, January 15, 2021 of Una Reilly Florida USA and formerly of Coralanna, Lismacaffrey, Westmeath. Beloved daughter of the late Hugh and Winifred sister of the late Sean Paddy Con and Angela. Una is sadly missed by her sister Catherene, brothers Oliver, Noel and Hubert, also her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace. The death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St Joseph's Hospital, Longford on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 of Winnie Nevin, 44 Farnagh, Longford town.
Predeceased by her husband Martin, grandchild David Stokes, brothers Hughie and John, sisters Nanny, Mary, Alice and Dolly. Winnie will be sadly missed by her sons John, Paddy, Martin, Hughie and Michael, daughters Mary and Winnie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, her adored 46 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her devoted husband Tom, daughter Marie Early (Kilnagross), her brothers Gabriel, John, Oliver and her sister Agnes. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Eilish Flynn & Olive Davis (Gaigue, Ballinamuck), her son Thomas G. & his partner Alen, her son-in-law's John Early and John Davis, her grandchildren Mark, Stephanie, Seán, Joseph, John, Max, Daniel & Saul, sister-in-law Bridget Gallagher (N.Y), niece, nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends. The death occurred peacefully at St James Hospital, Leeds in the presence of his family on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 of Patrick (Pat) Scully Morley, Leeds, UK, formerly Cloonmorris, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by his brothers John and Thomas (Sonny) and his sister Eileen (O’Reilly, Abbeylara, Longford). Deeply missed by his beloved wife Anne (nee Brett, Kilkelly, Mayo), sons Vincent, John, Adrian and Malcolm, daughters-in-law Claire, Julie and Natalie, grandchildren Heather, Amelia & Eleanor, sister Maeve (Leahy USA), his nephews, nieces, neighbours and many friends.
