The death occurred, in Lisdarn Unit for the Elderly, Cavan, after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family, in her 81st year, on Saturday, July 1, 2023 of Helen Murphy (née Keegan), Kilmore, Dring, Longford. Predeceased by her parents Dominic and Katie, her husband James, son Anthony, son in law Sean, sister Josie, nephew Declan. Sadly missed by sons Seamus and Kevin, daughters Catherine, Carmel and Mary, sister Kathleen, grandchildren, sons in law, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends. May Helen Rest in Peace.
Reposing on Sunday evening, July 2 at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy, Eircode N39 W1D6, from 5pm with prayers at 7pm with removal immediately afterwards to St Columba's Church, Mullinalaghta, Longford, N39EY17, arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, July 3 at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in the local cemetery.
Funeral Mass will be live streamed on "Gowna and Mullinalaghta" Facebook Page or by downloading the app "Belltron Streaming" and search for St Columba's.
Walter Jackson, Mullolagher, Longford / Ballycastle, Mayo

The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on Saturday, July 1, 2023 of Walter Jackson, Mullolagher, Longford and formerly of Ballinglen, Ballycastle, Co Mayo. Walter will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Mary, daughter Ella, son Andrew, father Walter, mother Betty, sisters Geraldine and Doris, brothers David, Brian and Cecil, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. At rest.
Resting at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Monday, July 3 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Service in St John’s Church, Battery Road (N39 KP59) on Tuesday, July 4 at 3pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Graveyard.

Pauline Smyth, 'Iowa', Ballyleague, Roscommon / Granard, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital Galway, on Thursday, June 29, 2023 of Pauline Smyth, ‘Iowa’, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and formerly of Castlenugent, Granard, Co Longford. Pauline was deeply loved by her late husband, Sean Farrell, and her two children Adam and Leah. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Pat, Mary, Beryl and Jeanne, brothers Edward, Philip, Matt, Mel, James and Kevin and their partners, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins along with her wide circle of friends. May She rest in peace.
House is private. Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon (N39 HV52) on Sunday afternoon, July 2 at 1pm followed by a private cremation ceremony.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget. Thomas will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Margaret and Christine, brother Patrick, sister-in-law Catherine, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. Francis will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Philomena (Phyllis), daughters Sharon (Arva) and Louise Nertney (Drumlish), sons Niall (Newtownforbes), Kenneth (Headford, Galway) and Mark (Drumlish), daughters-in-law Catherine and Antoinette, sons-in-law Richard and Eamon, brother Peter (Laytown), his 16 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully at The North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 of Michael Heslin Drumharkin Glebe, Streamstown, Cloone, Co Leitrim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife; Maureen, daughters; Michelle (David Reilly, Carrigallen) and Louise (Declan McCloskey, Ballintogher, Sligo), sister; Anna Minogue (Dublin), brother-in-law Ben Minogue, grandchildren; Cian, Daryl, Noah, Ría, Kaiden and Teagan, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Predeceased by his parents Mick and Betty his sister Kathleen Moran and brother Michael.
