The death occurred, peacefully in her home surrounded by her heartbroken family, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 of Sarah Stokes (née Kelly), Corboy, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved daughter baby Kathleen. Sarah will be forever missed by her family, her husband Michael, sons Mikey, Pa, Francis and Ronan, daughters Mary-Ann, Ashley and Sarah, her adored 17 grandchildren, parents Patsy and Ann, brothers and sister Patrick, Mark,John and Rose, sons-in-law Brian and Steven, daughters-in-law Nancy, Natalie, Shauna and Natalie, uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. A silent thought, a quiet prayer, For a special person in God's care. Rest in Peace Sarah.
Reposing in her home on Sunday, June 11 from 2pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from her home on Monday, June 12, for Funeral Mass at 1pm, in St Mel's Cathedral, Longford, followed with burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live: click here

The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Sunday, June 11, 2023 of Maureen Dowd (née Murtagh), Fortwilliam, Newtowncashel, Longford. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret and her brother Tom. Maureen will be sadly missed by her husband PJ, daughters Olive and Helen, son Patrick, sons in law Stuart and Adam, her adored grandsons Ben, Sam, Harry, Donnacha, Henry and Noah, her sister Brigid (BC Fitzsimons), brother Ambrose, brothers in law, sisters in law, niece, nephews and a wide circle of neighbours and friends. Reposing at the family home Fortwilliam, Newtowncashel (N39 CF44) on Tuesday, June 13 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Cortege will leave the family home on Wednesday, June 14 at 11:30 arriving at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Newtowncashel for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cashel Cemetery. The death occurred, suddenly but peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, on Friday, June 9, 2023 of Noeleen Kelly (nee Armstrong), Tarmon Harbour, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon/ Longford. Predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Jil and Andrea, sons Mark and David and their father Tom, daughter-in-law Christine, son-in-law Richard, sisters Phyllis and Marie, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchild, best friends Ann and Elaine, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
