The death occurred on Thursday, June 1, 2023 of John Kelly, Cluain Ard, Ardnacassa, Longford town and formerly of Arklow, Co Wicklow. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Bridget and by his brothers and sisters. John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Bernadette, son John, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces , nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, June 4 from 5.30pm until 7pm followed by removal to St Mel’s Cathedral to arrive for evening prayers at 7.30pm. The death occurred on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 of Barry Kilemade, Grian Ard, Ardnacassa, Longford. Reunited with his beloved mother Breda and nephew Ben. Dearly loved partner and best friend of Caroline (Connell), much loved father of Jake and Conor. Sadly missed by his loving partner, sons and family, his father Owen, brother Eoin, sisters Siobhan Fitzgerald and Elaine Charles, mother-in-law Veronica, brothers-in-law Michael, Shane, Dermot, Francis and Davy, sisters-in-law Michelle, Sinead and Lorraine, uncles and aunts (Helen), nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and his many good friends.

The death occurred, peacefully in the care of St Francis Hospice, Dublin, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 of Rita Taraseviciene, Cornakelly, Moyne, Longford. Rita will be sadly missed by her partner and best friend Audrius, her beloved daughter Diana, extended family, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred, tragically following an accident at Middletown Cross, Loughduff, Co Cavan, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 of Keely McGivney, Middletown, Loughduff, Cavan and 10 Boston Gardens, Hanwell, London, W7 2AN. Predeceased by her father Martin, her grandparents Brian and Bridie O'Reilly and her grandfather Mickey McGivney (London). Adored daughter of Lily (O'Reilly) and sister of Michael. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family; her grandmother Kathleen McGivney (London), her uncles; Padraig O'Reilly, (Breda Kiernan), Kieran McGivney, (Juls) (London), Andrew McGivney, (Claire) (London) her aunts; Mairead (Peter Shiels) and Trisha (Tom Goodman), her cousins; Annie-May, Rosie, Elsie, Danny, Lucas and Thalia, extended family and a close circle of friends in both Cavan and London. Mass to celebrate Keely's life will take place in St Joseph's Church Loughduff, on Thursday, June 1 at 7pm. Keely will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium Cavan (H12RF78) on Friday, June 2 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Burial will take place in London at a later date. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital in the company of her family, on Monday, May 29, 2023 of Margaret (Peggy) O'Connor (nee Flood), Marian Avenue, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her husband John and son-in-law Jack Keenan. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Gerardine and son Dessie, grandchildren Bryan and John, sisters Ann Myles and Mary Skelly, brother-in-law Dessie, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully at University Hospital Galway after a short illness with his wife Mairéad by his side, on Monday, May 29, 2023 of Roy Heany, Luí na Gréine, Baile an Saggart, An Spidéal, Contae na Gaillimhe and formerly of Clonrollagh, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Ida.

The death occurred, suddenly after a long battle with mental health illness, on Monday, May 29, 2023 of Seamus McGovern, Cattan, Mohill, Leitrim / Longford. Margaret (Peggy) McNicholas (née Murray), London and late of, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath

The death occurred on Saturday, May 20, 2023 of Margaret (Peggy) McNicholas (née Murray). Margaret lived in London for many years but was born and raised in Westmeath. She grew up in Castlepollard before going to England but retained a close relationship with family and friends at home for her lifetime. After a long life, well lived, she passed away peacefully in the presence of her family.
Dearly beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) and mother of the late Michael McNicholas. She will be greatly missed by her devoted family, her children, Eileen, Jim and Rita, her grandchildren and three great-grandsons and the families of her late sisters in both Westmeath and London will also lament her passing. May Peggy rest in peace.
Nan (Nancy Neal) McGrath, Gurteen, Ballymahon, Longford

The death occurred, in the care of Comfort House Hospice, Mc Allen Texas, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 of Nan (Nancy Neal) McGrath, Gurteen, Ballymahon, Longford and Mission, Texas, USA. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Nancy McGrath, her beloved husband Keith and her brother Paddy. She is sadly missed by her daughter, Megan, her son-in-law Jeremy Whitted, brothers Tom and Barney, her sister Kitty (Feeney), her sisters-in-law Julie and Margaret, nieces, nephews, her extended family and her many friends.
Nan's funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 26, in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Mission Texas, which may be viewed via their Facebook page Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Mission TX at 8pm (Irish time). A Memorial Mass for Nan will be held in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon on Saturday, June 10, at 11am. May she rest in eternal peace.
