Thomas Christopher (TC) Gray, Abbeycarton, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in the Regional Hospital Mullingar and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 of Thomas Christopher (TC) Gray, Abbeycarton, Longford town and formerly of Main Street, Drumlish, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret, parents Tom, Mary and sister Mary. Deeply regretted by his sisters Patsy, Elizabeth and Eileen, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

The death occurred, unexpectedly but peacefully at The Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by his family, on Monday, April 3, 2023 of Pat Wall, The Demesne, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kathleen, brother Gerry and by his sister Ann. Pat will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his heartbroken wife and best friend Mags, beloved son Brendan, adored daughter Deirdre, beautiful granddaughters Rosie and Pearl, precious grandson Luke, brother Michael, son-in-law Leroy, sister-in-law Bernadette, niece, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, April 6 from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Liturgy in St Mel’s Cathedral on Friday, April 7 at 11am, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1.30pm. Margaret (Peggy) Farrell (née Leavy), Trillick-a-temple, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 3, 2023 of Margaret (Peggy) Farrell (née Leavy), Trillick-a-temple, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mairead Kelly (Morning), Brenda Kelly (Clonfide) and Carmel Guckian (Drumsna), sons JJ (Trillick-a-temple), Kevin (Carrickedmond), sister Kathleen Finnan (Kilnasavogue), brother Louie (Kilbeggan), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, 15 grandchildren, niece, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence (N39 NN83) on Tuesday, April 4 from 3.30pm concluding with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal to St Mel’s Cathedral arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, April 5 at 2pm ,interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live please go to www.longfordparish.com

Fergus Kennedy, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon / Newtownforbes, Longford / Borrisokane, Tipperary

The death occurred, suddenly but peacefully, on Friday, March 31, 2023 of Fergus Kennedy, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon and formerly of Cloontagh, Newtownforbes, Co Longford and “The Beeches”, Borrisokane, Co Tipperary. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Rita.
Fergus will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, son Michael and his mother Sinead, sisters Karina (Terryglass, CoTipperary) and Orla (Rathoe, Co Carlow), brother Damien (Borrisokane, Co Tipperary), brother-in-law Joe, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, work colleagues and friends. May he rest in peace.

Kathleen Fallon, Cloonslanor, Strokestown, Roscommon / Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill, on Monday, April 3, 2023 of Kathleen Fallon, Cloonslanor, Strokestown, Roscommon and formerly of Hartly, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim. Deeply regretted by her cousins, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Wednesday, April 5 from 7pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday, April 6 to Strokestown Parish Church for Funeral Liturgy at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon at 12.30pm.

Maureen Fuchs (née Kilrane), Towneymore, Mohill, Leitrim / Gortletteragh, Leitrim


The death occurred, peacefully at her home in Germany, on Monday, April 3, 2023 of Maureen Fuchs (Maureen Kilrane), Germany and formerly of Towneymore, Mohill, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her Angel daughter Angela and darling sister Anita. Sadly missed by her lovely daughters Eileen, Carmen and husband Eirwin. Deeply regretted by her sister Loretta, brothers Micheal, Bernie, Frank, Vincent, Kevin, Mel, Colm and Paddy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends. May Maureen's gentle soul rest in peace.
Mass for the repose of Maureen's soul will be held at a later stage in Mohill and Gortletteragh churches.

Kate Molly Colum, Cloonabrackan, Strokestown, Roscommon / Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

e are heartbroken to announce our beautiful darling daughter Kate Molly Colum was carried away by the angels, bringing all our love with her, on Friday, March 31, 2023. Kept forever in the hearts of her parents Matthew and Claire, brothers Matthew ("Brobro") and Daniel ("Baby"), grandparents Kieran and Kathleen Colum and Phil and Gerry Quinlan, aunts, uncles, cousins and all her playschool friends and all her friends in Roscommon Down Syndrome Branch.

Sweet Kate Molly will rest at Leavy's Funeral Home, Scramogue, Co Roscommon F42FD78, on Tuesday, April 4 from 4 to 8pm. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated in Strokestown Parish Church on Wednesday, April 5 at 12 noon followed by interment afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Roscommon Down Syndrome Branch c/o any family member or Kieran Leavy, Undertakers. Gerardine (Geri) Hanley, Blackrock, Dublin / Strokestown, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully, at home in the Blackrock Cheshire, wonderfully cared for by Patricia and her team, with the support of the Blackrock Hospice Home Care Team, after 46 years living with MS, on Sunday, April 2, 2023 of Geraldine (Geri) Hanley, Blackrock, Co Dublin and Drumagissaun, Strokestown, Co Roscommon.
Beloved sister of her twin Liz, Mary, Jack, Michael and Peter. Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Lily and brother Tom. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law Conor and Mincho, sisters-in-law Dorothy, Carmel, Valerie and Maeve, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Stephen Robert Gaffney, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath


The death occurred, peacefully, aged 74 years, on Sunday, March 5, 2023 of Stephen Robert Gaffney, formerly of Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and latterly of Luton, Bedfordshire UK.
Predeceased by his loving parents Thomas and Mary Gaffney, brothers John, Tommy and Harry, sisters Christina, Nora, Nancy and Margaret. Beloved father of Chloe and Simon, father in law to Dean and Ella, loving grandfather to Poppy and Frankie. Deeply mourned by his brothers Danny, Barney and Michael, and sisters Theresa and Bridget, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral service shall take place on Wednesday, April 5 at 11.30am at Langstone Vale Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St David's Hospice, Newport, Wales.

Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy NÉE Wallace) England and late of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath / Louisburgh, Mayo


The death occurred, peacefully, on Friday, January 13, 2023 of Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy née Wallace), Ruislip, Middlesex, England and formerly of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and Louisburgh, Co Mayo. Beloved wife of Brian and the late Eamonn and dear mother of Paul and Louise. Noreen will be very sadly missed by her husband and family, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Natasha, Heather, Aidan, Pearse and Christy, her brothers Anthony, Stephen and Tommy, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May Noreen rest in peace.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 1pm at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford, Middlesex, England, followed by cremation at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip. The Mass can be viewed at Our Lady of the Visitation
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 12 noon in the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery. In preference to flowers, Brian, Paul and Louise would appreciate donations to Alzheimer's Research UK (JustGiving)
