It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, which occurred peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in Kettering General Hospital, of Michael Dowler, 1944-2023. Michael had so many memories of growing up in Abbeyshrule and the surrounding areas in Longford with his parents Michael and Kathleen Dowler and sister Nancy and cousin James Dowler. A loving Daddy to Nicola, Aileen, Kristine and Katie, grandad and friend to many. Funeral takes place in Saint Edwards Church, Kettering at 2pm on Friday, February 17, 2023.

The death occurred, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness, on Saturday, January 28, 2023 of Bridget Boyle (née Bonner), Derrydruel, Dungloe, Donegal / Loch Gowna, Cavan and formerly of New York. Predeceased by her sons James and Pat (New York). Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Denis, her daughter Sally Madden and son in law John Madden (The Green, Loch Gowna), her daughter Ann Delaney (New York), her brothers; James and John Bonner (Dungloe, Donegal), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, daughters in law, extended family, many neighbours and a large circle of friends. RIP.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, H12 RF78, on Saturday, January 28 from 5-7 pm. Arriving to McGlynns Funeral Home, Dungloe F94 ND68, for reposal from 4-8pm on Sunday, January 29. Funeral Mass at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Meenacross F94 PR90, at 11am on Monday, January 30 followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. The death occurred, at Lough Erill nursing home Mohill surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 26, 2023 of Anne Sinclair Malcolm Moxham (née Reid), late of Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim and originally Kelvingrove, Glasgow. Predeceased by her beloved husband William. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Shona and Carol, sons-in-law Don and James, loving sisters Christina and Isabel, nephews and nieces Frank, Helen, Patricia, Linda, Stephen and Karl. At Rest.
Service will take place in St George’s Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday January 30 at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Carrickedmond Churchyard, Co Longford, arriving at 2pm approximately. Family flowers only.

The death occurred, peacefully, in the devoted care of the Management and staff of Portiuncla Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, on Saturday, January 28, 2023 of John Fagan, Coolure, Coole, Westmeath and late of Bord na Móna. John will be fondly remembered by the McCabe and Nolan families, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces, good neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Portiuncla Nursing Home Chapel, Multyfarnham on Monday, January 30 from 4pm concluding with prayers at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 31 at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole, followed by burial in St Feichín's Cemetery, Fore.

The death occurred, at Whipps Cross Hospital (London), surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 of Sharon Lee Johnson, London, England and formerly The Square, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath. Predeceased by her father Jimmy. Sadly missed by her loving children Daniel, Lewis, Ben, Bromwyn and Eireann, their dad Glen, her grandchildren, mother Kathleen, brothers Francis and Oliver, sister Amanda, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Hughie, her son Seán, her brother Eamonn and three grandchildren. The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her family and devoted friends, after an illness stoically borne, on Sunday, January 22 of Valerie Pakenham (née McNair Scott), at her beloved home Tullynally, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath.
Dearly loved wife of Thomas, wonderful mother to Maria, Eliza, Ned and Fred, cherished mother-in-law to Bogislav, Alex, Sarah, Claire, and inspiring grandmother to Aidan, Ciarán, Samuel, Anselm, Matilda, Gabriel, Julia, Tom, Lyra, Sasha and Ferdy. She will be much missed by her adored brother Nigel, and her large extended family and many friends.
Valerie’s funeral cortège will depart from the Grand Gate at Tullynally on Monday, January 30 at 10.45am, to arrive at St Michael’s Church, The Square, Castlepollard for 11am funeral service, and thereafter to the Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Cavan, for cremation ceremony at 2pm. The Pakenham family wishes to thank all those who have offered words of sympathy, cards and flowers since Valerie’s sad passing, and kindly ask for your support and understanding as they take the necessary time to grieve as a family.
