Ericsson opens its doors to provide Longford students with a glimpse of working world

Fifth year students from Ballymahon Vocational School recently visited Ericsson.

Fifth year students from Ballymahon Vocational School recently visited Ericsson. The visit forms part of the Skills at Work programme delivered by Ericsson and coordinated by Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI).

The BITCI Skills @ Work Programme gives secondary school students the unique opportunity to visit and experience the workplace. 

Ann Dillon, Galway Regional Coordinator Business in the Community Ireland, explained, "Thirty-five students were given a guided tour of the Ericsson offices by company employees and gained an insight into the many career opportunities that exist in the communications industry."
