The Breffni Players, from Carrick-on-Shannon, celebrate their 68th year in existence with their latest production, Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward, directed by Angus Dunne.
Blithe Spirit is a comedy about socialite and novelist Charles Condomine who invites eccentric medium and clairvoyant, Madame Arcati to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book.
The scheme backfires when he is haunted by the ghost of his annoying and temperamental first wife, Elvira, following the séance. Elvira attempts to disrupt Charles’ marriage to his second wife, Ruth, who cannot see or hear the ghost.
This show will lift your spirits and give you a good laugh! To book your ticket, call the Backstage Theatre on 043 33 47888.
