Once again North Longford’s Latin School Players take to the stage at Moyne Community Centre and this year’s production is the farce by Michael J. Ginnelly, ‘Pretend Sick’.
The play revolves around Katie, a manipulative and cunning mother of Seán and Mary.
Katie pretends to be sick to keep Mary at home. The younger lady has been courted for ten years by Martin, who is afraid to leave his own mother.
However, everything changes when Matt, the English tourist, arrives.
The play opens on Friday March 23 and runs for three nights only. The remaining two performances take place on Saturday March 24 and Sunday April 1. Performances start at 8.30pm sharp. Admission is by ticket only and tickets, which cost €10 each, are available in local shops.
