The County Final of Longford Senior Scór took place at the weekend in The ‘98 Hall, Ballinamuck.
Winners included Figure Dancing, Ballymore Club; Sean Nós Dancing, Legan Club (Patsy Brady); Solo singing, Rathcline Club (Tracy Tobin); Recitation, Legan Club (Gerry Madden); Instrumental Music, Fr Manning Gaels; Ballad Group, St. Patrick’s, Ardagh; Novelty Act, Legan Club.
There were no set dancers on the night and the next round in the competition - the Leinster Semi Finals - takes place on Saturday, March 8 next in Birr, Co Offaly.
Organisers were delighted with the response to the event and are hoping that the whole county will get behind its clubs and support all particpants in the upcoming Leinster semi finals.
