A recent fundraising event at The Black Olive Restaurant, Longford, raised over €1,000 for the Irish Cancer Society. Organised by Sharon Feeney and Daneka Wilson, the ‘Shave or Dye’ was supported by a variety of businesses across Longford.
“We would like to thank Leona Doherty of Stenson’s for doing the waxing on the night,” said Sharon Feeney.
She added: “Sean Boon of Longford Custom Ink, who got married on Friday (May 18) did the tattooing. I’d also like to thank all the participants including Darren Prunty and Brendan Byrne who had their chest and legs waxed on the night. Fiona and Larry O’Keeffe, who got matching tattoos. Daneka Wilson also dyed her hair for the night. Thanks also goes to Yvonne Murray (Hair Divas) and Colette Reynolds (Hair Square).”
Ms Feeney went on to thank Fiona O’Keeffe of the Black Olive Restaurant for hosting the venue and the food and Shelley Corcoran for taking photographs.
