Submissions are welcome
This is a reminder that the 'Longford Leader' is bringing back Longford New Writing, a space dedicated to showcasing your creative work for publication.
If you have got something in your notebook, on your computer, in a sketchbook, or in a photo gallery on your phone that you think should be given a platform, this is the opportunity to do it.

We are introducing art / photography submissions as well to be partnered with prose / poetry for 2026.
Stories should be up to 500 words and poetry up to max 250 (to cater to possible layout requirements).
Submit up to four artworks / photographs for consideration.
Please put your subject line of the email as 'Longford New Writing' (followed by prose / poetry / art / photography) and have the body of the email contain the title of your work and a small bio (of 50 words, preferably in third-person) about yourself.
Submit this to Éimear Smith at eimear.smith@longfordleader.ie
