The contestants for the upcoming season of Channel 4's hit comedy game show, Taskmaster, have been revealed with Irish comedian and podcaster Joanne McNally among the five comedians set to grace our screens.
McNally has been taking Ireland and the UK's comedy scene by storm in recent years with sell-out tours, hilarious chat show appearances, a hit documentary, and a successful podcast all under her belt.
The Dublin native co-hosts the popular My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast with reality star Vogue Williams, with the duo collecting the Champion Award at the 2023 British Podcast Awards.
Now McNally is set to feature as one of the five comedians participating in the 17th season of one of Channel 4’s most popular programmes, coming in as the channel’s third most streamed title of the year with 2.3 billion viewing minutes recorded across all series watched in 2023.
Preparing to fight tooth and nail to impress the almighty Taskmaster Greg Davies alongside McNally are Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning comedian and radio presenter John Robins, award-winning actor and comedian Nick Mohammed best known for his role as Nate in Apple TV hit Ted Lasso, BAFTA-winning actor, writer, producer and comedian Sophie Willan (Alma’s Not Normal), and award-winning actor and writer Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9).
