The Mahers, hailing from Offaly, bring a unique blend of talents to the competition, with farmers, electricians, county footballers and hurlers among their ranks. The Stratfords, representing Cavan, are no strangers to challenges, as they thrive in mountain running, kayaking, and the pursuit of ‘absolute hardship’. Meanwhile, the Penny Taylor family is all about pushing their physical limits, with a passion for CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, show jumping, and competitive swimming. Finally, the McNamaras are a competitive bunch with interests like boxing, marathon running, GAA, soccer…the list goes on!
These fearless families will battle it out for two coveted places in the next round of the competition at a brand-new location – The Farm.
New presenter Laura Fox is on the hunt to find the nation’s Fittest Family. She’s not the only new kid on the block, as legendary athlete Sonia O’Sullivan will be joining Nina Carberry, Davy Fitzgerald and Donncha O’Callaghan to push the families to their limits and over the finish line for the coveted title and €15,000.
