GALLERY | The town of Longford 'Feast for Bethany'

A Feast for Bethany, a fundraising initiative in aid of Bethany House Longford, was held on Market Square in Longford town on Saturday, May 4, in what was a fun day out for people of all ages.

All funds raised as part of the event went to Bethany House, which is a SVP-run emergency accommodation‎ shelter, catering for women over the age of 18 in Longford, Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.

On the day there was an abundance of stalls, live music and even some guest appearances from some of our favourite cartoon characters. The fundraiser saw the team raise in excess of €600 and they aim to go bigger and better again next year.
