Brilliant celebrations in Longford and Roscommon as Ballyboro FC marks 25th Anniversary

Huge crowd attends special celebration

Ballyboro FC (Lanesboro / Ballyleague) celebrated its 25th Anniversary recently. A brilliant day was had with exhibitions of football from every age group, followed by a barbecue and bouncy castle.

With a huge crowd in attendance, Ballyboro FC made a presentation to the Hussey Family to recognise the immense contribution that the late Mary Hussey gave to the club during her time as part of the executive.

A presentation was also made to Martha and Alan Farrell on behalf of the Ballyboro Senior team for there continued support to the club and sponsorship of our senior team.

To make the weekend even better, the Ballyboro Masters team won the Roscommon & District League Masters Shield following a 2-1 win over Glen Celtic at Lecarrow with the winning goal been scored by David Harrison in the last minute of extra time.
