Longford’s rising football talent, Fionn McCormack Crowe, continues to make waves after earning a call-up to Jason Donohue's Republic of Ireland U15 squad for their recent international fixtures in Spain.

Fionn from Drumlish began his football journey with Gaels United, where his natural ability and determination quickly stood out. He later moved to Melview FC, continuing his development before progressing to Athlone Town, where he now plays in the League of Ireland.

This season, Fionn has been in exceptional form — currently sitting top of the MU14 League of Ireland goal-scoring charts — and his performances have earned him deserved national recognition.

The young footballer recently travelled to Alicante, Spain, where the Ireland U15s faced the Spanish U15 national team in a two-match series at the Albir Garden Resort. Fionn featured in both games even coming agonisingly close to scoring with a spectacular overhead kick whilst proudly representing his country and gaining valuable international experience against elite opposition.
