Repair and Reuse Workshop brings sustainability to Longford Town

The workshop was a collaboration between Longford County Council and Comhairle Na nOg

Templemore Hall hosted an array of stalls for the Longford Repair and Reuse Workshop between 10-1pm today. Those participating included reupholstered furniture, handmade soaps, Music Generation and African textile upcycling, the latter giving away remade outfits for free.

Gary Brady was in attendance, overseeing the event, and hopes that more events will happen in the future. The event's goal was to advocate the importance of sustainability, and how to turn old items into new ones for others to enjoy.
