Passengers were in shock this morning as an Irish Rail train collided with a car carrying two passengers at a level crossing.
The collision happened this morning on the Ballybrophy to Limerick (via Nenagh) service in the townland of Carrow near Nenagh.
There were 18 passengers on the train including the driver and the ticket checker and there were two people in the passenger car.
Those involved said they were in "shock" after the accident but miraculously nobody was injured.
The train was travelling at a low speed of 30mph and emergency services were quick on the scene after being alerted.
Investigations are still ongoing but the line has now been reopened.

Irish Rail provided the following statement,
"The 09:00 Ballybrophy to Limerick (via Nenagh) service struck a car on a user operated field level crossing in the townland of Carrow near Nenagh. In this area, train speed is 30mph.
"Two people were in the car and initial reports are they are in shock but thankfully not seriously injured. Emergency services have been alerted and are attending the scene.
"There were 18 passengers on board the train as well as our driver and ticket checker, and there are no injuries on board. A bus is being arranged to transfer customers onwards.
"The Railway Accident Investigation Unit of the Department of Transport has been advised. The line has now reopened.
