The 12th annual Pat the Baker Longford Marathon took place on Sunday, August 25.
Quickly becoming one of the most popular sporting events of the summer, the Longford Marathon sees athletes travel from far and wide to take part in the various events.
This year was no different with athletes from the UK, United States, central Europe and India lining up to compete, while spectators lined the streets of Longford to encourage the competitors on their way.
