Carrigallen’s Corn Mill Theatre Company clinched several awards at the RTÉ All-Ireland Drama Festival finals in Athlone last week.
‘The Devil’s Céilí’, an experimental comedy by Philip Doherty and Kevin McGahern, won the ‘Best Play’ award, while its director Ronan Ward was also honoured.
The group also won the Abbey Theatre Award, which will afford them the opportunity to stage The Devil’s Céilí at the Peacock Theatre in Dublin.
