PV's posted a story today to clear up the rumours
The owners of the popular PV Fallon's gastropub and accommodation in Longford town have addressed rumours which suggested they were shutting their doors for good.
Posting on their business Instagram page today, owners Barry and Lisa Lynam, said they had been asked by "a lot of customers" if they were closing, and had wanted to clear up the speculation once and for all.
The couple confirmed that the venue, situated on Ballymahon Street, is not closing and is actually in for an even busier year ahead with renovation works in the plans too.
They wrote: "Folks, we just wanted to come on and put your minds at ease."
"We've had a lot of customers asking us if we are closing in the new year - we just wanted to assure you all, we are here to stay."
"2026 will see more great food and cocktails, all with even better company! We have plans for some renovations too, so a busy year ahead."
"Thank you all, as always, for your continued business and support. We are very proud of our family business and will continue to serve you for years to come. Lisa and Barry"
