Traffic delays expected on part of Longford’s N55 as roadworks begin
Three days of footpath extension works have begun outside Mostrim GAA in Edgeworthstown today, Wednesday August 26.
Road users of the N55 in Edgeworthstown have been advised to expect some disruption as a footpath works get underway at Mostrim GAA today, Wednesday August 26.
The works, which will involve extending the existing footpath by 10 metres, will take place over a 24-hour period and are expected to last for three days.
The road will remain open throughout the works but will be reduced to one lane, with temporary traffic lights in place as a form of traffic management.
Road users are being warned that traffic delays should be expected while the works are being carried out.
