November is a busy time for the Peter Keenan branch, Sunday, November 9 is Remembrance Sunday and our members will take part in the ceremonials on the Market Square at 11am. After the ceremony there will be presentations to some of our dedicated members, in Herterichs, Pig Market Lane, where refreshments will be provided.



On 21st Hugh Farrell’s history of the Cavalry, The Warriors A History of 4th Motor Squadron/4th Cavalry Squadron, will be launched, by ex-Colonel Noel Byrne in Longford Library at 7.30pm or 19.30 army time.

Our next meeting is on the December 5; in the Vintage Club Connolly Barracks, our chairman would like to thank Longford Vintage Club for their generosity in allowing us the use of their clubhouse for meetings.


Membership subscriptions are now due; payment can be made to our treasurer John Grogan.
