Club Longford & Longford GAA have launched an Early Bird Draw, which takes place on July 15. This early-bird draw has an amazing prize, being two tickets to the Oasis concert. Tickets for the draw are priced at €20 for one, €50 for three, €100 for seven and  €150 for twelve. Entering the Early Bird means that the entrant is included in the main draw as well.

The main draw will take place on July 19. The first prize on offer is a new Toyota RAV4 or a cash equivalent of €50,000 - sponsored by Longford's Peter Hanley Motors - and tickets are priced the same: €20 for one,  €50 for three,  €100 for seven and  €150 for twelve.

There are three other prizes on offer for the main draw, ranging from €1,000 vouchers sponsored by Elgin Energy and Nally Brothers to a €300 Voucher for the Castle Court Hotel - Sponsored by Source Technical Providers.

Speaking to the Leader, Club Longford Chairperson Derek Sheridan, stated that, “the fund for the top prize has been increased from €40,000 in 2024 to €50,000 this year and the chance to win the new Toyota RAV4".

He said the annual draw is vital in terms of raising vital funding with all monies distributed to the senior Longford men's team, the senior Longford hurlers and the Longford ladies Gaelic football team.

Mr Sheridan stated there has been fantastic efforts by clubs in Longford who have supported the draw and in previous years they had a target of collecting €100,000 and this year they are looking to increase that.
