Historic bullseye: First Longford youth darts team steps up to the oche for All-Ireland championship

History makers: The Longford Youth Darts Academy team

The first Longford youth darts team will step up to the oche for the All-Ireland Youths championship which takes place in Ballinasloe this weekend, Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 9. 

The history making squad of seven have been preparing diligently over the past eleven months under the auspices of the Longford Youth Darts Academy. 

Fifty-five teams from 24 different counties will be battling it out for All-Ireland glory.

The Longford squad is skippered by John Ganly and also in the line-up are Billy King, Donnacha Brady, Conor Bruen, Harvey Devlin, Mitchell Nolan and Paul Kelly.
