Serious knee injury sustained by Mostrim player stops conclusion of Longford GAA league fixture

The Senior Football League Division 1 game, Mostrim v St Mary’s Granard at C&D Devine Park on Wednesday evening, did not finish due to a serious knee injury sustained by Edgeworthstown player Adam Connaughton in the third minute of stoppage time.

Longford Town back on track with a vital win against Wexford FC

Longford Town ended a run of four straight defeats with just their fifth win of the season after goals from Cristian Magerusan and Beineon O’Brien Whitmarsh earned the midlanders a vital win over Wexford FC at Bishopsgate on Saturday night.
